David Hummel
David is a Senior Research Systems Architect for the Research Information
Technology Group. David has over 10 years of experience in software
development, GNU/Linux and open source technologies. Most recently David
worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the Center for Biomedical Informatics
and the Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Prior to this
he worked as a Research Software Developer in the Children's Hospital
Informatics Program at Children's Hospital Boston, and as a Bioinformatics
Software Developer at the Agricultural Research Service in the United States
Department of Agriculture. David holds a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and an
M.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of
California, Davis.
