Bret Martin


Bret Martin is the Senior Research Systems Architect in the Research Information Technology Group. Bret Martin has eight years of experience building and maintaining computer systems using UNIX, Linux, and Open Source technologies. Most recently Bret worked as a Senior Research Systems Architect for the Harvard Medical School, West Quad Computing Group. Prior to that Bret worked at educational institutions (Yale University Information Technology Services), online content providers (Student.Com and TVGrid.Com) and professional services organizations (VA Linux Systems). With Rik Faith, Bret co-authored RFC 2229, a standards document for networked human-language lexicon clients and servers.
